Jumma is an important day of worship for Muslims. It is a day when Muslims gather in mosques to pray and listen to a sermon. It occurs on the every Fridays of every month.
The importance of Jumma lies in the fact that the day is dedicated to the remembrance of Allah. During the sermon, the Imam (leader) reminds Muslims of their duties to Allah and encourages them to live according to His teachings.
In addition to the usual five daily prayers, Muslims are also encouraged to attend Friday prayers, which include two additional Rakats (units of prayer). This is seen as an opportunity to draw closer to Allah and display greater devotion.
Jumma is not only a time for prayer and devotion, but it is also a time for socializing and community. After the prayers, Muslims often gather together for a meal, or for other activities. It is also a great opportunity for non-Muslims to learn about Islam, as the Imam often speaks about Islamic teachings during the sermon.
